Ponderosa Nursery is nestled in rural Hamilton, Michigan. Owned by Jim Battaglia of Hamilton and operated by Jim and his hard-working staff of area people, our customers have been enjoying quality, Michigan-grown products for over 40 years. In 1966, Jim bought the farm in Hamilton, Michigan and began operations with only a cleaned-out turkey house and one poly house for greenhouses. Everything was done by hand-all the planting, seeding and harvesting. Jim worked another job during the day but farmed at night to build Ponderosa Nursery. In 1974, the Christmas wreath business began with Art Watson, the president of the Michigan Association of Nurserymen. Now, Ponderosa Nursery provides deluxe wreaths, garlands and gorgeous specialty arrangements for every state in the union except Oregon. Now, in addition to a great staff of people, you"ll find acres of greenhouses and warehouses and crops in the fields. We ship to nearly every state in the U.S. and Canada.
